Kent Bowman "Pioneer of Local Comedy"

Image
Kent William Bowman (1923-2007), Hilo, Hawaii, (French, Hawaiian, Scottish, and English). He is considered a pioneer in his work on the road for his unique style and the “Pioneer of Local Hawaiian comedy“. He is serious as he is aware of the local-climate and takes great pride in his craft as other entertainers who bring a fun loving crowd. He had so much kindness and conversations would be well led and he talked a bit slowly to make it feel like he was spending so much time with you too even if for a bit. The way Don did things is he made a plan and saw the path that he felt he had no choice to take and he took it as a matter of going out and doing something out of necessity. In a way its like there are other choices, but this is the one that has to be done for what I valued, like he wanted to know more about music and not knowing music himself he ta...

Kui Lee attended Kamehameha and then later graduated from Roosevelt. He had a really ripped body, a handsome Hawaiian-Chinese-Caucasian man and he could do lots of stuff. Fire knife dancing, Singing, Dancing.  He liked turtle necks,  He never really liked doctors  The Rebel Hawaiian Paving the Road Looking back it can be easy to say that he was doing what everyone would hope would be the best stuff he could make, but there were plenty of people that didn’t agree with him singing in English and playing in a style of his own that was almost lounge-like. He really wanted to do things his way and it wasn’t because of it only being a choice, but for the reason of expressing what he wanted to in a way he wanted to, because he had this sense of ...
