Pioneers of Hawaii Anisong "East Meets West"

Image
Crimson Apple can sometimes be found by looking for them on search and that might make some of the history of the group kept under wraps and for those in the know. But when the group has triggered several other garage bands and influenced people who moved to the mainland to make anime songs online and to sing to audiences themselves it can be curious to see where their influence stems. Outside of the otaku scene the high degree of performance in the aesthetic, music arts, and emphasis placed on being live makes each member of the group stand out alone with their respective musical arts. The group has a unique gift of creating wonderful songs that bring a rockin energy with a certain level of reproduction and attention to detail that the audience gets lost in them. Distinctive Live Presence: In stories they were known as the band that brought Anisong to a Hawaii Stage. While there are many who took the stage before there was a concert at the Otaku Summer Festival 2015 that was at the...

Yum Yum Tree "The Rival of Annamillers"

Image
Yum Yum Tree was a casual-dining restaurant chain in Hawaii, known for its coffee shop and diner atmosphere, particularly its pies. Yum Yum Tree was owned by Trans Pacific Restaurants that owned a bunch of other restaurants in Hawaii and managed several locations including: West Ridge Aiea, Downtown Ward Centre, Aikai Kailua, Mililani, and Kahala. They were the ones who owned Jolly Rogers and already had a lot of experience serving the people in Hawaii. It just had the Yu...

Anna Miller’s: Hawaii Landmark with Otaku Connection

Anna Miller's Restaurant An american place has become a Hawaii staple and the people have made it their place and it changed, but later on it would become a very real place where people would meet up where groups who had roots with their families would head to for all sorts of pretty important discussions. The people that keep it afloat come from all sorts of backgrounds and it is set in a place that is perfect for the crowds it brings from the military by the nearby housing, the locals who been patrons for years, workers who get off late at night, and businessmen as well, as journalists with a few clubs at the odd hours of the night. Many who are asked might not exactly know why or know entirely why, because it is a place that has always been there, a place iconic and seemingly unwavering to time, and sitting back and thinking of it ever being gone seems like not seeing an aunty. All those basic thoughts come into mind as people reflect on the establishment that has quite the hist...
