Phenomena of Otaku Stench

Image
Phenomena of Otaku Stench With longer watch times than ever, advancing non-socialization, and less reasons to leave the house to meet in person with people there are many reasons to blame why there might be those who may be not inclined to take care of personal hygiene. If you are interested in the Otaku scene of Japanese Animation, Manga Comics, and Cosplay that attends any sorts of live-events there can be times that those events can bring feelings of joy and excitement that quickly can change to a shiver and dread from an over sensory overload of foul odor that can not be found in the room. Veterans who have attended previous events can state their own personal experiences that this can be found at a multitude of events and at meet-ups, but it is especially pronounced when events are not common and there is more reason to stay home and alone than to be social and have a fun time in person. Otaku Get a Bad Stereotype of Stinkiness Otaku get a bad reputation as stinky shoppers who onl...

Hawaii VTuber Collectives

A Blueprint for Building a Hawaii Collective that is part of the entire Hawaii Vtuber Ecosystem. Okay, its time to talk about building a VTuber community. You and your friends have a dream, but you're not some corporate giant with an endless budget. That's not a problem—it's your greatest advantage. This isn't just a list of "best practices"; this is your blueprint for survival. This is the game plan for how a collective really works, so you can not only make it, but absolutely conquer it. The Inner Workings: How it Begins: It doesn't start with a brand; it starts with a shared purpose. A small agency's most critical investment is time, trust, and creative fire. The "how it works" is a series of simple steps built on a collaborative foundation. A crew starts with a simple idea and a shared understanding—what do we fight for? What kind of content are we going to create? And, most importantly, what kind of a community are we going to forge? Thi...

The VTuber Gold Rush: How Quantity Reshaped the V-Tuber Business

Image
The VTuber industry had a major rush of people coming to be V-Tubers and things played out till the end with everyone being a creator. But when everyone's a creator, what happens to value? it becomes a sort of paradox of sorts. First of all it's not about blaming V-tubers, the riggers, the artists, the personas. No, it's about this fundamental, seismic shift in power and value that the digital age brought. And when you look at VTubing, you see these exact same dynamics playing out, but in a whole new, animated dimension. The parallels to the music industry are just like seeing what happened before, happen again, its undeniable. The Sinking Sands of Gatekeepers : Who's in Control Now? The Largest-Vtuber Agencies jumped in with a lot of money and wanted Vtubers to go through them as a major talent agency, the lead guys were who decided who got signed, the contractors for the models and dictated what they would do. They controlled everything – the promotion, the exposure, ...

Hawaii V-Tuber Riggers "The Art of Bringing 2D to Life"

Image
The Art of Bringing 2D to Life A Rigger:  The journey from a beautiful 2D illustration to a captivating, expressive VTuber avatar uses both art and technical skills and the look is on the outside while bones of the animation movements are on the inside. The "rigger" is a specialist who is really technical in making the essential controls and interactivity of camera to V-tuber actor to have control over their digital puppet. It is a really detailed and at higher levels an intricate process, it is less a rigid and depends on what the model is suppose to do, and the linear progression is both methodical and iterative at times. There is a lot of problem solving involved in figuring out what works for a rig and what doesn't. The Actor:  You can't just have a nice rig though; you have to know how to use the rig and give it life, because that's how it makes money. The way people move around and use the model through the motion controls shows the art of the rig, so withou...

Pioneers of Hawaii Anisong "East Meets West"

Image
Crimson Apple can sometimes be found by looking for them on search and that might make some of the history of the group kept under wraps and for those in the know. But when the group has triggered several other garage bands and influenced people who moved to the mainland to make anime songs online and to sing to audiences themselves it can be curious to see where their influence stems. Outside of the otaku scene the high degree of performance in the aesthetic, music arts, and emphasis placed on being live makes each member of the group stand out alone with their respective musical arts. The group has a unique gift of creating wonderful songs that bring a rockin energy with a certain level of reproduction and attention to detail that the audience gets lost in them. Distinctive Live Presence: In stories they were known as the band that brought Anisong to a Hawaii Stage. While there are many who took the stage before there was a concert at the Otaku Summer Festival 2015 that was at the...

Yum Yum Tree "The Rival of Annamillers"

Image
Yum Yum Tree was a casual-dining restaurant chain in Hawaii, known for its coffee shop and diner atmosphere, particularly its pies. Yum Yum Tree was owned by Trans Pacific Restaurants that owned a bunch of other restaurants in Hawaii and managed several locations including: West Ridge Aiea, Downtown Ward Centre, Aikai Kailua, Mililani, and Kahala. They were the ones who owned Jolly Rogers and already had a lot of experience serving the people in Hawaii. When you arrived there would be the Tree where it would say Yum Yum Tree with a nice space outside almost like a cottage or rustic feeling home. There was a lovely logo in artistic stained glass in entrance door that kind of made it feel nice. It was a coffee house or what some might call a "Hawaiian Diner" from those who came from the mainland, but it was an all around dining spot that wasn't too casual, not to fancy, but just right.  In 1970s, its early days the menu was mostly only burgers and shakes. It just had the Yu...
