In English, Hawaiianophiles are those who are non-Hawaiian, non-Hawaii born Kama’aina, non-Hawaii rooted, and have favorable behavior towards Hawaii, Hawaiian people (Hawaiian descent), and Hawaiian Language, Hawaiian culture, Hawaiian art, and Hawaiian food. The spectrum is large in historical circumstances, regional factors, individual values, group values, and considered as a Hawaiianophile, pro-Hawaiian, so it is controversial in its title. Some people can include former participants from a Hawaiian Halau, Hawaiian activist groups, and former Hawaiian business staff, with various familiarities and definitions of “Hawaii”, “Kanaka”, and “Hawaiian”.
There are cases in which people will be well intentioned to Hawaiian people to learn and perpetuate pro-Hawaiian things and are not familiar with the Hawaiian culture, people who are familiar with ancient Hawaiian culture and trends, Hawaiian popular culture, and Hawaiian history (written by Hawaiian authors). On the internet in the United States people who are obsessed with Hawaiian culture are sometimes derogatory terms or assumed ideals as to favor Hawaiian movements and seek to be confirmed as a “Hawaiian Ally” versus being a “Invader”. Hawaiian culture, has exported through ex-residents from those who moved or were forced to sell from the rising costs of Hawaii living and the Housing crisis demand in Hawaii.

Hawaiianophile Culture, The Hawaiianophile sentiment has been influenced from the content industry, subcultures such as Hawaiian books, Local Hawaiian music, and Television shows and documentaries that create an attraction to Hawaiian men or women because of such works.
