"It was the Hawaii version of Woodstock... man...I went to woodstock years ago... and man... Sunshine was so much better man. You had to see it to believe it. All the chicks man, all the sounds, it was psychedelic. You had to have been there! you wouldn't understand cool guy, because it was so long ago."

Some people may call it a breakfast, or some might call it the breakfast served at lunch, and some may even call it the hamburger volcano of gravy and eggs, but it's the Hawaii comfort food called the Loco Moco. A Loco Moco consists of: the rice, the gravy, the patty, the eggs, and the toppings. The patty had been a burger, however as time went on many sorts of ingredients were used and shaped like a patty, such as: formed patties, meatloafs, and seasoned seafood pokes. Originating from the Big Island it has become a staple at many plate lunch restaurants and has no association as a breakfast plate, which makes it a great choice at any time of day. Yum Yum Tree "The Rival of Annamillers"

Yum Yum Tree was a casual-dining restaurant chain in Hawaii, known for its coffee shop and diner atmosphere, particularly its pies. Yum Yum Tree was owned by Trans Pacific Restaurants that owned a bunch of other restaurants in Hawaii and managed several locations including: West Ridge Aiea, Downtown Ward Centre, Aikai Kailua, Mililani, and Kahala. They were the ones who owned Jolly Rogers and already had a lot of experience serving the people in Hawaii. When you arrived there would be the Tree where it would say Yum Yum Tree with a nice space outside almost like a cottage or rustic feeling home. There was a lovely logo in artistic stained glass in entrance door that kind of made it feel nice.
